Kieran Madden

Kieran Madden was previously Maxim Institute’s Director of Research and Development. With a Master’s in Public Policy from the Crawford School of Economics and Government at ANU, he worked across a broad range of social policy issues, primarily focused on understanding and developing effective policies to reduce poverty in New Zealand.

Kieran also explored the potential of character skills—qualities such as perseverance, motivation, and self-control—to help New Zealanders navigate the future of work. He additionally examined the growing challenges of loneliness and social isolation, identifying their impacts in an increasingly uncertain time.
