The Maxim Summer Internship is a 12-week summer internship for university students and recent graduates with an interest in Policy, Politics and Communications.

The programme comprises a combination of morning classes with experts in history, philosophy, law, politics and media; afternoons reading primary texts by some of the world’s greatest thinkers; and evenings hosting politicians or engaging in debate. There are also two field trips: a week in Wellington meeting a variety of policy makers and several days in Waitangi for the Treaty Anniversary.

“The most significant takeaway for me was a real formation and confirmation of my interest in the public square and questions of public policy. I would recommend the program to others, and am keen to support the program in the future in whatever way I can.”
