Professor Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela

October 19, 2019

Earlier this year, we hosted Professor Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela for her first time in New Zealand to speak at our annual Sir John Graham lecture. Since serving on South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Professor Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela has dedicated her life to understanding how we can bridge the differences that have been at the root of historic divisions through reconciliation and reparation, “creating spaces for dialogue, facing and mourning the past.”

We recorded this podcast on the morning of her lecture, click below to listen to Pumla speak with Alex Penk and Lindsay Faris.

For more information and to hear her lecture July 2019 visit www.maxim.org.nz/sjgl2019.
