Hon Sir Pita Sharples – Woven Together

May 15, 2020

This month on the podcast, we return to our 2015 Sir John Graham lecture delivered by Sir Pita Sharples.

Sir Pita is known to most people as the co-founder of the Māori Party and as the Minister of Maori Affairs, yet his experience ranges far wider than that into leadership, academia, and public service. In his 2015 address Sir Pita covers his own personal history, and the history of the people of this land. He speaks into the challenges we face as a nation and encourages us to engage deeper into this story.
