In a recent speech, Prime Minister John Key announced a set of five year targets for the public sector to aim for as part of the Better Public Services programme. Mr. Key remarked that the “targets are not a wish-list – they are a to-do list,” and in almost the same breath that they are also“...very aspirational—in fact, some of them will be extremely difficult to achieve.”+ more
